PURPOSE: An underground buried bicycle rack is provided to prevent interference on pedestrians by opening the cover completely only when a bicycle wheel is inserted. CONSTITUTION: An underground buried bicycle rack comprises a recess formed on the ground and a plate(10) which is installed on the recess and has a wheel insertion hole(11) and a locking hole(12). The recess includes a locking unit which is compose of a bottom plate(30) installed on the bottom of the recess and a connecting rod(20) which is rotated around a central axis so that a rear locking hook sticks out when a front up-down operating plate is pressed by a wheel inserted in the wheel insertion hole. A cover is hinged on the wheel insertion hole. The bottom plate includes an opening and closing unit which interlocks with the connecting rod to open and close the cover.
