<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for extracting only a portion of a prescribed attribute (color or figure) from one document and printing it. <P>SOLUTION: In a printing system, a printer 100 has: a reception means receiving print data having color information and designation information showing the color to be filtered; a drawing processing means generating image data based on the received print data; and a printing means printing the image data generated by the drawing processing means.
