PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leukocyte depletion column which can efficiently and selectively remove granulocytes increasing in the body liquid in inflammation, and has both of an excellent curative effect to inflammatory lesions and bio-compatibility. SOLUTION: This leukocyte depletion column efficiently removes granulocytes from the body liquid. An adsorption carrier which is filled in the leukocyte depletion column is a fiber of which the average diameter is 0.5 to 30 μm. The filling rate of the adsorption carrier is 9.8 to 19.5 vol.%. The depletion ratio of granulocytes from the body liquid in inflammation is 1.2 times or more compared with the depletion ratio of granulocytes from the body liquid in non-inflammation.
