PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a securing device of a spare tire of an automobile that obviates the risk of a careless removal of the spare tire by opposing the screwing direction of a shaft against the mounting direction of a case. SOLUTION: The case 60 includes: a case body 70 being fit into a space 42, having an outer shape larger than an internal diameter of a through-hole 41, and having a hollow part; a cylindrical part 100 extending from the case body 70 toward the through-hole 41, having an outer diameter no larger than the internal diameter of the through-hole 41, and having an insertion hole in communication with the hollow part and through which the shaft 51 can be inserted; and a step section 73 located between the case body 70 and the cylindrical part 100 to prevent the case body 70 from escaping from the through-hole 41.
