PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid discharge head which can suppress incorporation of rubbish and foreign matter into a liquid passage and has high reliability by an inexpensive but highly precise manufacture thereof. SOLUTION: A common liquid chamber 208 and a connection pipe 209 of a liquid discharge head 34 are integrally formed by a resin. A channel between the common liquid chamber 208 and the connection pipe 209 has no joint. The end of the connection pipe 209 on the side opposite to the common liquid chamber 208 is coated with a sealer 215 such as an adhesive, so that a fine fracture surface after removing a burr generated in the ridge line of a tip open end of the channel of the connection pipe 209 during molding is covered by the sealing member 215. Thus, the generation of a rubbish is positively suppressed to solve the troubles such as non-discharge of liquid from a nozzle to stably discharge the liquid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
