<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building-planning tool in which an image data-generating device generate layout image data on a building by arranging a layout member or the like on a site member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The building-planning tool 1 includes: the layout member 2 which corresponds to a structure constituting a building; the site member 3 which corresponds to a site on which the building is built, and on which the layout member 2 is arranged and which reads the identification information and positional information of the layout member 2; an image data-generating device 4 which generates the layout image data on the building on the basis of the identification information and the positional information; and incidental members 5 which correspond to incidental facilities arranged inside and outside the building.
