摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous membrane formed by a copolymer comprising a polyethylene glycol and polystyrene, which is a block copolymer of a hydrophilic polymer and a hydrophobic polymer, having a three dimensional network structure having voids communicating with each other and having the surface of the skeletal part of the three-dimensional network structure functionalized with the polyethylene glycol. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This porous membrane having the three-dimensional network structure is obtained by a method comprising a process of applying a solution containing the block copolymer comprising the polystyrene and polyethylene glycol, and a polyethylene glycol homopolymer satisfying formula (1) below, and having an organic solvent of 18.5 to 22.0 SP value onto the surface of a substrate plate to form an applied membrane having a co-continuous structure of entangling the continuous phase of the polystyrene with the continuous phase of the polyethylene glycol, and a process of removing the polyethylene glycol homopolymer in the membrane with water. Formula (1) is 0.6≤(b1+b2)/(a1+b1+b2)≤0.7 [wherein, a1 is the volume of the polystyrene of the block copolymer in the applied membrane; b1 is the volume of the polyethylene glycol of the block copolymer in the applied membrane; and b2 is the volume of the homopolymer of the polyethylene glycol in the applied membrane].
