<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image encoding device which is suitable when used in a system, such as an imaging apparatus formed by a small scale hardware configuration, and can efficiently select a prediction system adapted to an encoded state while suppressing deterioration in encoding efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: At least one between the number of pieces of interframe predictive image data and the number of pieces of interframe predictive image data selected in a frame of an encoding object is counted, and when the number of selected pieces of the interframe predictive image data exceeds a predetermined threshold on the basis of the counted value, the interframe predictive image data is selected preferentially in remaining pixel blocks of the frame of the encoding object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
