<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source device, capable of reducing, even if a light guide member is set with its central axis being displaced from the optical axis of a light source, the light escaping through between the light guide member and the light source to maintain the illuminance. <P>SOLUTION: In the linear light source device 1 in which the long light guide member 4 having a light intake part 42 at one end portion and the light source 3 disposed to face the light intake part 42 are fixed on a base 2, the light intake part 42 of the light guide member 4 is formed into a curved surface rotationally symmetric around the central axis of the member 4, and an emitting surface 31 of the light source 3 is formed into a curved surface rotationally symmetric around the central axis of the light source 3. A connecting member 5 is disposed between the light intake part 42 of the light guide member 4 and the emitting surface 31 of the light source 3, the boundary surface with the light guide member 4 of the connecting member 5 is formed into a curved surface rotationally symmetric around the central axis of the connecting member, and the boundary surface with the light source 3 of the connecting member 5 is formed into a curved surface rotationally symmetric around the central axis of the connecting member 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
