PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow modified polyester multifilament having a high hollowness, high bulkiness, high lightness, and a soft feeling. SOLUTION: The polyester multifilament includes 20 or more single filaments consisting of polyester filaments in which at least 90 mol% or more of a polymer component constituting filaments is composed of polyethylene terephthalate units and is made of a core part having a filamentous cross section of square hollow and eight fin parts projecting radially from the external surface of the core part with respect to the central point of the core part and extended along in the length direction of the core part.
