PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect plywood or a veneer laminate from an insect noxious to lumber such as a termite by donating high lumber preservation performance with a smaller amount of a medicine than usual. SOLUTION: An adhesive agent containing an inseciticidal composition having a water solubility of not lower than 10 g/L at 20°C is used for the plywood or veneer laminate. After the plywood or veneer laminate is put in a plastic vessel where 150 hunger worker house termites and 15 soldier house termites exist and is left as it is for 21 days, the weight reduction of the plywood or veneer laminate is smaller than 30 mg.
