PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the sealing performance of a gasket mounted on a cap. SOLUTION: The gasket 50 held in the gasket holding recessed portion 30 of the fuel cap is compressed and deformed while collapsing its C-shaped cross section when receiving thrust from the fuel cap with the original operation of the fuel cap. Thus, the gasket 50 makes an assist rib 52a contact a seal face side lip 54 to thrust the seal face side lip 54 to the side of a seal face 14b and seal the seal face 14b. With the continuous operation of the fuel cap, the assist rib 52a receiving the thrust is curved in the state of contacting the seal face side lip 54 and thrust with a sub assist rib 52b.
