<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine rotary main shaft for properly keeping fastening force by a fastening mechanism. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This gas turbine rotary main shaft 1 includes rotary bodies K1 and K2 rotating around a rotary shaft G as the axis, a ring 7 coaxially juxtaposed to the rotary bodies K1 and K2, and a fastening bolt mechanism 18 for fastening the rotary bodies K1 and K2 and the ring 7 so as to be sandwiched in the axial direction. The ring 7 is formed in a wedge shape in a cross section S in a plane including the rotary shaft G. Thus, when rotating the gas turbine rotary main shaft 1, the ring 7 moves so as to expand outside in the radial direction by centrifugal force. The shaft length of the rotary bodies K1 and K2 and the ring 7 fastened by the fastening bolt mechanism 18 changes in response to a rotating speed according to this movement, and the fastening force by the fastening bolt mechanism 18 is adjusted in response to the rotating speed.
