<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor detecting an object having entered a monitoring area and preventing a false report due to the shaking of plants existing in the monitoring area. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image sensor 2 includes: an imaging part 22 for simultaneously acquiring a color image including a red image obtained by capturing the monitoring area and a near-infrared image; a plant certainty calculating means 211 for calculating plant certainty from the luminance value of each pixel of the red image and the near-infrared image and extracting a set of pixels in which the plant certainty is a predetermined threshold or more as a plant area; a change area extracting means 212 for extracting a change area on the basis of a difference between the color image or the near-infrared image of the monitoring area and a reference image; an intrusion object attribute degree calculating means 214 for calculating an intrusion object attribute degree for the change area; a disturbance attribute degree calculating means 213 for calculating a disturbance attribute degree that is increased as the ratio of an area overlapping the plant area occupying the change area is increased; and a determining means 215 for determining whether the change area is the intrusion object on the basis of the intrusion object attribute degree and the disturbance attribute degree.
