PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus, an imaging system, and a driving method of the solid-state imaging apparatus which can reduce jaggy while achieving high speed for read operation of signals. SOLUTION: The apparatus lets at least a part of a first process and a third process be carried out by overlapping in time out of three processes: the first process to let a plurality of first respective holding units hold signals from one or more pixels; a second process to add signals from a plurality of the pixels held by a plurality of the first holding units; and the third process to output the signals held by second holding units.
