<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric system for a vehicle, an audio apparatus, and a control method, for reducing an audible noise from a broadcast receiving device caused by a switching noise at the time of voltage boosting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric system 100 for a vehicle that automatically stops an engine at the time of stopping the vehicle, boosts a battery voltage using a booster circuit 15 to be supplied to the audio apparatus 17. The system muffles a broadcast sound output from the audio apparatus 17 when it is determined that a beat note is generated based on the received frequency of the broadcast received with the audio apparatus 17 and a switching frequency at which the booster circuit 15 switches a switching element 22.
