REFRIGERATION DEVICE

A refrigeration device for maintaining the temperature inside a chamber at a predetermined low temperature state.  The refrigeration device comprises: a first refrigerant circuit and a second refrigerant circuit which each form a refrigeration cycle consisting of a compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducer, and an evaporator which are annularly connected to each other by piping and in which a first refrigerant or a second refrigerant is sealed as the operating refrigerant; a first sensor for detecting the temperature of a cascade condenser formed by integrating together the evaporator of the first refrigerant circuit and the condenser of the second refrigerant circuit in a heat exchangeable manner; a first control device for variably controlling, based on the temperature detected by the first sensor, the operation capacity of the first compressor so that the temperature detected by the first sensor becomes a first temperature; a second sensor for detecting the temperature in the chamber; and a second control device for variably controlling, based on the temperature detected by the second sensor, the operation capacity of the second compressor so that the temperature detected by the second sensor becomes a second temperature.
