A grill lifting and lowering apparatus lifts up and down a grill installed on a ceiling in order to provide an indoor environment with cool and warm air generated in an air-conditioner. The grill up-and-down lifting apparatus comprises a main body which is anchored on the ceiling, a pair of elevating reels which are distanced from each other and installed in the main body, and a wire which is extended from each elevating reel and connected to the grill. Each elevating reel includes an outer casing, a drive motor installed inside the outer casing, a drive shaft which is installed inside the outer casing and connected to the drive motor to rotate, primary and secondary drums which are installed inside the outer casing and coupled with the drive shaft to rotate, and a guide roller which is installed inside the outer casing. The wire connected to the primary and secondary drums passes through the guide roller. |
