<p>A method for controlling media server and system thereof are provided. The method includes: receiving various current service capability parameters reported by various media servers periodically; according to the information of required media service in a reorientation service request, computing the requisite consume of the media service capability for providing the media service to obtain the required value of each service capability; comparing the each current service capability parameters of the each media server with the required value of corresponding service capability respectively, selecting a media server according to the comparison result as an optimal media server to provide the media service for the user terminal. The method and system can realize accurate reorientation and load balance for different types of media service requests, ensure user service quality, and integrally improve the performance and stability of the system.</p> |
