END-TO-END QOS AND FLOW CONTROL FOR ADAPTIVE CHANNELS

A method for dynamically controlling user data throughput at the quality of service (QoS) enforcers output for at least the purpose of regulating it according to the available bit rate over the transmission channel. The method includes an adaptive transmission channel comprising one quality of service enforcer, one encapsulation device, and one modulator, wherein the encapsulation device or the modulator or both are configured to use an adaptive transmission mechanism.
