PURPOSE: A multi-processor and power source saving method using the same is provided so that according to the system status, the power managing state is converted appropriately. The life time of the battery is extended. CONSTITUTION: According to the main processor(100) is the system status, the power managing state of the multi-processor is converted. The power managing state comprises the active state, and the sub processor stationary state and adaptive state. The active state altogether activates a main processor and a plurality of sub processors(200a-200n). The sub processor stationary state stops the operation of one or more sub processor. The adaptive state by turns reiterates the active state and sub processor stationary state.
