<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-shaft gas turbine easily establishing a balance between the consumption power of a compressor and the output power of a high-pressure turbine even in the case where the two-shaft gas turbine is a type in which a flow rate of high-pressure turbine working gas is relatively greater than that of compressor working gas. <P>SOLUTION: This two-shaft gas turbine includes: a compressor 1 compressing air; a means for adding fluid into compressed air compressed by the compressor 1; a combustor 2 producing combustion gas by burning fuel and a mixture of the compressed air and added fluid; a high-pressure turbine 3H driven by the combustion gas produced by the combustor 2; a low-pressure turbine 3L driven by the combustion gas driving the high-pressure turbine 3H; a first rotating shaft 4 connecting the compressor 1 to the high-pressure turbine 3H; a second rotating shaft 5 as the rotating shaft of the low-pressure turbine 3L; and a generator 7L as a first load connected to the second rotating shaft 5.
