<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein it is necessary to further effectively muffle sound emitted from the back face of a speaker driver to the inside of a speaker box. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This speaker box includes, in its internal space, an expansion part of which the cross-sectional area in a direction orthogonal to the vibration axis of a speaker driver is gradually decreased with distance from the back face of the speaker driver, and is set larger than that of a minimum part at which the cross-sectional area is minimized when getting across the minimum part.
