<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a light-emitting device which is excellent on light-emitting characteristics, and a manufacturing method for a light-emitting device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Residual developing fluid (TMAH) as a light-emitting obstruction factor is confined since a light-emitting protection layer 8f deposited by coating acid solution is prepared after forming a bank 13 by using alkaline developing fluid, an EL element 8 is formed by making the light-emitting obstruction factor (TMAH) not act on a hole injection layer 8b without deteriorating the hole injection layer 8b, and an EL panel 1 which is excellent in the light-emitting characteristics can be manufactured.
