<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a user to implement the processing that the user desires. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A complex machine 1 for implementing the predetermined processing according to the set value includes: an EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory) 13 for storing state information about the complex machine 1; a setting-decision processing part 10b receiving a set file including the set value about the processing from a USB (universal serial bus) memory U, and determining if the complex machine 1 is capable of independently implementing the processing according to the set value on the basis of the set value of the set file and the state information; and a retrieval processing part 10c for retrieving the other image processing apparatus for conducting the processing according to the set value when determining that the complex machine 1 is not capable of independently implementing the processing according to the set value.
