<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device capable of securing safety of a combustion device for a long period. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air volume sensor 21 for detecting the amount of air supplied to a burner 11, and an oxygen concentration sensor 22 for detecting oxygen concentration in the supplied air are disposed. A control circuit 12 is further disposed to stop combustion in the burner 11 by closing a gas solenoid valve 13 and the like, when it is determined that the amount of carbon monoxide included in an exhaust gas is over an allowable value because of shortage of the amount of oxygen to the amount of fuel supplied to the burner 11 according to the necessary combustion amount requested moment to moment on the basis of the actual amount of supplied air detected by the air volume sensor 21 moment by moment, and the actual concentration of oxygen included in the supplied air detected by the oxygen concentration sensor 22 moment by moment.
