摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflector type ball screw mechanism reducing impact when balls collide with an inner peripheral portion of a deflector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ball screw mechanism 40 includes a screw shaft 41, a nut 42 rotatable relatively to the screw shaft 41 at the outer periphery of the screw shaft 41, the plurality of balls 43 disposed in a ball rolling path A which is formed between the nut 42 and the screw shaft 41, and the deflector 44 attached to the nut 42 and having a circulation path B which continuously scoops up the balls 43 in the ball rolling path A and lets them pass through and circulate endlessly. The deflector 44 has the inner peripheral portion 44a forming an inner peripheral part of the circulation path B and an outer peripheral portion 44b which forms an outer peripheral part of the circulation path B and extends longer than the inner peripheral portion 44a in a circumferential direction. The outer peripheral portion 44b of the deflector 44 is magnetized (made into a magnet) and can attract the balls 43 by magnetic force towards the inner wall of the outer peripheral part 44b between an end in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral portion 44b of the deflector 44 and an end in the circumferential direction of the inner peripheral portion 44a.
