The object has an ice layer that is turned towards a viewer, where the ice layer is frozen by an evaporator (20) of a refrigerating system. A plate-shaped evaporator (10) has a heat exchanging surface in which the ice layer is frozen. The heat exchanging surface is formed in three-dimensional manner and exhibits cylindrical or part-cylindrical geometry. A central longitudinal axis (M) of the heat exchanging surface is aligned vertically or approximately vertically. The evaporator (20) has a carrier plate with which an exchanger plate is connected.
