The coil (305) has an electrical conductor with a conductive strip section (307.i) that forms a wire wound coil, and another conductive strip section (308.i) that runs along a circular path in a plane around a central axis of the coil. The plane lies perpendicular to the central axis. Current flow in the former section has components during flow of current through the electrical conductor. The components are directed in a direction of winding progress (W) of the wire wound coil or in the opposite direction winding progress. Current flow in the latter section is directed against the component.
