The system has an arrangement including antennas (1a-na) for reception of signals in a frequency modulation (FM)-region. The antennas are connected with a receiver (7). A diversity module (4) selects the antennas conducting best quality receiving signals. A switching matrix (11) is connected with an interface (34) for a main power supply of a motor vehicle. The matrix preselects the antennas according to requirement of data describing an operating condition of the vehicle. The switching matrix interconnects one of the preselected antennas to the receiver.
