Provided is a radiography system, which can use a CR cassette and an FPD mixedly together and which can limit the influence range accompanying the addition or updating, thereby expanding the system function easily. On the basis of an input of photographing instructions that a radiation image detecting device (6) is used by an operator to an operation unit (78), a control terminal (7) notifies a managing means (4) of photographing instructions to use the radiation image detecting device (6) by the operator. On the basis of that notification, the managing means (4) controls an irradiation device (3) and the radiation image detecting device (6) thereby executing the photography.
