<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carboxylic acid-containing biomedical tissue adhesive and a method of preparing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A biomedical tissue adhesive consists of fibrinogen composition containing carboxylic acid or salt thereof at a rate of 0.05 mmol or more with respect to 40 mg of fibrinogen and a thrombin composition, a biomedical tissue adhesive is formed by applying at least one of the fibrinogen composition or the thrombin composition to a bioabsorbable sheet, and methods of preparing these biomedical tissue adhesives. The carboxylic acid or salt thereof is used by combining one or a plurality of acids selected from a group consisting of acetic acid, glutamic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, aspartic acid, malic acid, succinic acid and salts thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
