<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both the protection and the convenience of an on-vehicle battery in a vehicle for automatically turning off a vehicular lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular lighting control device includes a timer means for measuring the elapsed time, a door opening/closing detection means for detecting the opening/closing operation of a vehicle door, an engine driving history storage means for storing the driving history of an engine of a vehicle, and a control means which allows the timer means to start the measurement when the main power source of the vehicle is turned off, resets the measurement time of the timer means when the door opening/closing detection means detects the opening/closing operation of the vehicle door except when the engine driving time during the previous run stored in the engine driving history storage means is equal to or shorter than a reference time, and automatically turns off a predetermined on-vehicle luminaire when the measurement time of the timer means reaches a predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
