PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for undertreads, in which the breaking strength of the rubber composition can be maintained at practical level while a reclaimed rubber and a calcium carbonate as the bulking agent of its rubber raw material are formulated. SOLUTION: The rubber composition includes formulating 10-30 pts.wt. of a reclaimed rubber and 1-24 pts.wt. of a calcium carbonate based on 100 pts.wt. of at least one diene-based rubber selected from a natural rubber, a butadiene rubber, and a styrene-butadiene rubber.
