PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paste-type dental cement which can obtain dental cement suited for temporary adhering or temporary filling. SOLUTION: The paste-type dental cement comprises phosphoric acid and/or a polymer of anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, an oxide powder reactive with the phosphoric acid and/or the polymer of anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, and water and further includes a liquid not reacting with the oxide powder reactive with the phosphoric acid and/or the polymer of anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid.
