PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for adding and updating desired location information for each of users. SOLUTION: The navigation device includes: an acquisition means acquiring from a portable recording medium updated location information which is edited by another computer and which is stored separately from existent location information included in map data; a search means searching the existent location information and the updated location information for the location information matching with an input condition when the updated location information is obtained by the acquisition means; and a control means causing a display part to display the updated location information preferentially over the existent location information, from among the pieces of location information extracted by the search means.
