PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal lighting system for elevator car, which can facilitate the replacement operation of light source. SOLUTION: The system includes: an illumination box body 11 set on a side plate 1a of a car from the outside of the car; an illumination plate 12 disposed between the illumination box body 11 and the inside of the car; a lid body 13 rotatably attached to the box body 11 to open and close for opening 1a of the box body 11; and a fluorescent tube lighting apparatus 14 mounted on the inner surface side of the lid body 13 to illuminate the inside of the car 1 through the illumination plate 12. The fluorescent tube lighting apparatus 14 can be drawn out of the illumination box body 11 by rotating the lid body 13 in the direction releasing the opening portion 11a of the illumination box body 11.
