PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which satisfies low-temperature fixability, offset resistance and hot storage resistance at levels adaptable even to an ultrahigh-speed fixing system and reduces contaminating properties particularly to a fixing member. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a binder resin, a release agent and a colorant. The binder resin contains a polyester resin (A) obtained by the polycondensation of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component containing refined rosin, and a polyester resin (B) obtained by the polycondensation of an alcohol component containing an alkylene oxide adduct of a bisphenol compound represented by a general formula (1) and a carboxylic acid component, wherein the mass ratio between the polyester resin (A) and the polyester resin (B) [(B)/(A)] is 2/8 to 6/4. In the formula, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are 2-4C alkylene; R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>are H or methyl; and x and y are positive integers provided that the sum of these is 1-16.
