PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the attitude of an optical scanner by a little turning the optical scanner vertically with respect to the direction of laser radiation around a positioning shaft which serves as a supporting point of the adjustment provided at the central part of the front end of an optical case. SOLUTION: The optical case 231 is provided with the positioning shaft 301 mounted on an apparatus frame 390 and two mounting holes 302, 303, the positioning shaft 301 is provided at the central part in the direction of radiation to the irradiated face A with laser light which is deflected and scanned with a polygon mirror 220, the two mounting holes 302, 303 are provided on the two points of a triangle, respectively, which has a vertex on the positioning shaft 301, and the mounting positions of the two mounting holes 302, 303 are adjustable centering on the positioning shaft 301.
