PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having an electrostatic atomizer capable of keeping a normal operation for a long period without generating electric leakage and the like by properly disposing the electrostatic atomizer. SOLUTION: An indoor unit includes the electrostatic atomizer 18A generating electrostatic mists, and the electrostatic atomizer 18A includes an electrostatic atomizing unit 30 having a discharge electrode 38 generating electrostatic mists by high voltage, a high-voltage power source 24 applying high voltage to the discharge electrode 38, and a Peltier element 36 having a radiation face 36a and a cooling face 36b. The discharge electrode 38 has a dew condensation section 38b having a high voltage terminal 24a connected to the high voltage power source 24, vertically disposed on the cooling face 36b, and cooled by the cooling face 36b so that the moisture in the air is condensed.
