<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety switch outlet interrupting the supply of power to a device connected to a plug and to an outlet, at the same time, by removing from the outlet the plug connected from the outlet to the device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A switch outlet 1 includes an outlet 2 and a plug 3 which are separated by being twisted to enable the interruption of power supplied to the outlet, wherein a breaker is incorporated into a wire on the power supply side. A multipoint line is provided which branches from an electrical circuit on the side supplying power to the breaker, and a voltage dropping device for dropping voltage, and a proximity lead switch that operates when a magnet portion is moved away from a switch portion, are sequentially provided to the multipoint line. The operation of removing the plug from the outlet results in the magnet portion being moved away from the switch portion, and thus the proximity lead switch is operated, and the supply of power to the outlet is interrupted.
