<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a common material granted with an element giving a heat resistance property in a paste, suppress both of a particle growth of the common material particle itself and a thermal shrinkage of an inner electrode film when the un-calcined inner electrode film formed by the paste is calcined and make an inner electrode layer obtained after calcination more dense and thinner to obtain a thinned conductive paste. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The conductive paste to be used for forming an inner electrode layer in a multilayer ceramic capacitor contains a conductive metal powder and a common material powder composed of dielectric ceramics, and is granted with one or two kinds or more of element selected from Dy, Ho on a surface part of the common material powder by performing a calcination processing at a calcination temperature of 300 to 600°C.
