<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ejection button device of an optical transceiver, in which the ejection of an optical transceiver due to an erroneous operation is prevented and the occurrence of a transmission error due to the cutoff of a line during an optical communication state is prevented. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ejection button device includes an ejection bar 11 and an arm driving bar 12 which are moved along guide rails 10a and 10b, both rails being disposed in a host apparatus. The ejection bar 11 is biased by a spring member 13 so as to return to an original position and has an ejection button 14 on the front end side, and a lever mechanism 15 is connected to the rear end side. The arm driving bar 12 has an engagement mechanism 18 which stops moving after moving linked with the ejection bar to a first pressing-in position of the ejection bar, and an rotating arm mechanism 17 is connected to the front end side of the arm driving bar 12. When the ejection bar 11 is pressed into the first pressing-in position, the rotating arm mechanism 17 is driven, and when the ejection bar is subsequently pressed into a second pressing-in position, the lever mechanism 15 is driven to push the optical transceiver 6 out.
