<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator position detector, a date detector, and a moving body position detector for detecting indicator positions, a date, and a moving body position in real time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A minute hand 7 and an hour hand 6 have first and second light transmitting sections 21b, 22a, and are rotated. If the minute hand 7 and the hour hand 6 pass a plurality (60) of light receiving sections 24 in a first solar panel 13 disposed under the hour hand 6 and the minute hand 7, lights passing through the first and second light transmitting sections 21b, 22a are selectively received by a plurality of the light receiving section 24.
