A system and method is provided for modeling an application and, more particularly, to a system and method for providing a maturity model of an application (e.g., web 2.0 maturity model). The system is implemented in a computer infrastructure and includes a computer executable code tangibly embodied on a computer readable medium and operable to graphically compare at least a current state of a plurality of technology areas based on a normalized score for each of the plurality of technology areas.
