<p>A technique which realizes cost reduction by the reduction of disconnection switches and stable drive by reset operation or address operation in the constitution of a circuit for driving the scanning electrode (Y-electrode) of a PDP device. A Y-electrode drive circuit (120) has a circuit (201) including a binary power supply (VY) generating a first voltage (V1=VA) and a second voltage (V2=VA+VB) between the ground side and power supply side of a scan driver (200). In scanning operation, the first voltage (V1) is used. When outputting a reset pulse voltage (VR) in reset operation, the second voltage (V2) is used and a supply voltage (Vw) for reset is superimposed to the second voltage (V2).</p> |
