The rotary speed adaptive damper (1), especially a centrifugal swing unit, has at least two inertia masses (3.1-3.4) on the circumference around the rotary axis (R). They form a ring-shaped unit (6) around the periphery, with spring couplings between them with stiff individual bonds at right angles to the peripheral direction. The inertia mass carrier (2) is a disk, with the inertia masses moving round the periphery and/or radially in relation to it.
