The device has a holder (4) for an hen's egg, a packing machine (5), a package (7) for the hen's egg, and an application unit designed as a three- or four lines inkjet printer (1) for application of advertising information on the hen's egg using alcohol-containing ink. The three- or four lines inkjet printer is arranged in front or in the packing machine. The advertising information are applied in words and/or in a graphical form and/or as representation on an egg side and/or on an egg pole under an angle at left or right in different colors.
