<p>The method of a receiver replying ACK to a sender is provided in present invention. The receiver starts an ACK timer, wherein the timing time of the ACK timer is set to be less than the RTX overtime time of the sender, and the timer is stopped or deleted after the receiver replies the ACK. When the amount of the frames which the ACKs are not currently replied to by the receiver is close to the window length of the local receiving window or the ACK timer overtimes, the receiver initiatively replies an ACK to the sender, and when the receiver receives an enquiry which is sent using a Poll frame by the sender because of the RTX overtime, it passively replies an ACK to the sender. The receiver adjusts the next overtime time of the ACK timer according to the current timing time of the ACK timer, the overtime time of RTX retransmission, the amount of frames which the ACKs are not replied to and the window length of the receiving window, which enables the monitoring frame and the pause of data transmission to be decreased, the rate of data transmission to be improved and the utilization ratio of the bandwidth to be improved efficiently.</p> |
