PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a descaling device which is formed in a simple structure independent of guide shoes to prevent the original performance of the guide shoes from being impaired. SOLUTION: This descaling device includes a descaling unit which is installed on the frame of a lifting body moving along guide rails while being guided with the guide shoes and moves while coming into contact with the guide rails. The descaling unit is attached independently of the guide shoes. The descaling unit is spring-supported with a sliding body, a brush, or a plurality of rollers. Since the descaling device is independent of the guide shoes to prevent the original performance of the guide shoes from being impaired, the device can be simplified in structure, and manufactured at low cost.
